And just like that, January is over. The first month of this year has been a fantastic one for us at nicheBrains. Adventurous, productive, and motivating. Couldn’t ask for a better start for the year. And how can we not share our stories from January with you? Here are the top updates from nicheBrains January 2023.
Expert Portfolio is the King!
The nicheBrains platform is getting ready for its upcoming update. And this time, expert portfolios are going to take the center stage in the expert profile. We believe every expert on our platform is more than their CVs. They come with years of experience in problem identifying and problem solving. We want these previous project experiences to talk on behalf of our experts.

An expert portfolio consists of the details an SME might want to know about the experts. These include an elevator pitch from the expert, previous projects, execution briefing, skillsets used, timelines and respective budgets. This gives a clear overview about the value an expert can create for SMEs. The upcoming version of nicheBrains is also designed in a way that each aspect focuses more and more on the value creation, and business outcomes for the SMEs.
The Interesting Conversations
In the month of January, we had some great leads coming in from different type of manufacturing industries. Some typical kinds of requirements were:
Machine shop efficiency for manufacturing business: The machine shop has machines of high end, which need highly experienced workers and hence, costs are high. Currently due to the unpredictable nature of the demand, the changeover times are higher and machines are scheduled with different changes. This results in high cost of operation for the machine shop. This needs a detailed study and execution to have the machine shop break-up and to take to profits.
Enhancing Customer Experience and Engagement through Digital Library: The current sales process for a textile manufacturer for B2B sales was creating product images and running it to clients through power point presentation. The problem was customer experience and engagement were challenging. The proposal was to build a digital library platform to have all product categories centrally located, accessible on-demand and capture key information through every interaction.
Leads Predictability Matrix: A leading chemical manufacturer/trading company wanted to enhance their sales process by helping their sales personnel to predict leads which have a better conversion rate. They wanted AI predictability model built to help their sales team to target leads which had an above 80% hit rate with greater than 90% accuracy, based on all their lead conversion parameters.
We see now more customers reaching out to us for a variety of their transformation needs and it gives credence to fact that SMEs are looking for transformation and just need to be connected to the right/curated experts.
