Wow! 2022 is almost done? This whole year has been a journey of productivity and growth for us at nicheBrains, and nothing would be possible without your support. A sincere thanks for that. Okay, before you go back to learning Christmas carols and thinking about your new year resolutions, here is our last wrap up for this year. Grab a drink, sit back and read on!

Updates from nicheBrains

The nicheBrains platform is ready to get a new update in the month of December which will make the workflow simpler for both Experts and SMEs. Before December 31st, the nicheBrains platform will be capable of handling a full cycle of posting projects, expert and customer interactions, proposal and contracts, and the entire project execution. By the end of this month, the nicheBrains platform is going to give a seamless experience to both the Experts and SME leaders.

The nicheBrains platform has many experts with different skillsets waiting to serve the digital needs of SMEs. To empower the SME leaders further, we are going to release the Digital Transformation Advisory Solution (Version 1). This feature enables the SMEs to assess the gaps and find their DTAS score so that they can make useful choices for their businesses.

On our platform, various new projects are getting added every day. More than 1000 experts have joined the nicheBrains platform already. Frequent updates are being released to make the service catalog and the expert’s curation more robust.

nicheBrains at Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Mysore

On 4th of November 2022, nicheBrains’ Co-Founder and CEO Lakshmi Narasimha Moorthy delivered a talk on ‘ Getting 10X growth Leveraging Disruption for SMEs’. The seminar took place in the city of Mysore and attended by 20 SME leaders from around the country.

The talk focused on SMEs reimagining the way businesses are done in order to leverage the digital disruptions. Digital transformation is a four-dimensional aspect. Reimagining strategy and leadership, expanding the operations, leveraging the technologies and focusing on building skills are the way to go for all the SMEs. Lakshmi Moorthy stressed on the point that change is eminent and no business is going to avoid it and keep surviving.

The interaction with different SME leaders and discussing the future of SMEs in India has been a fantastic experience. We, on behalf of nicheBrains extend our gratitude to CII, Mysore Chapter for the opportunity.

nicheBrains at IIT Madras BS in Data Science Program

Lakshmi Narasimha Moorthy, the CEO of nicheBrains was invited to the online interaction of IIT Madras BS and Data Science program on 10th November 2022. The presentation talked about preparing workforce for the future. Transformation in business is not new and when it happens it demands not just change in skills & capabilities but the way we work and engage. The three keywords for the future workforce are ‘Project’, ‘Portfolio’, and ‘Freelance’. How do we prepare ourselves to become a value creating entities, and how do we balance work, learning, and fun in our life was the heart of the interaction.

The future is not going to be same every day. We need to get ready to embrace change as it comes. We thank IIT Madras for the invitation to interact and contribute our part in enabling the transformation through the talk.

nicheBrains has marked its first anniversary since incorporation. The family also has extended to a team of 10 members. We have now launched new Expert Engagement, Curation Process, Customer Onboarding, Engagement through Pitch Submission, Interest expression and many other new features. We got confirmation to conduct 3 in person workshops in various Indian cities. We have launched a “Digital Transformation Assessment Solution” (DTAS) test version that was completed by 70+ SMEs.

nicheBrains will be releasing a new platform update later this month that lets the Expert and Customer access the Proposal, Signing off the Contract and receiving the paycheck through the platform. We're extremely delighted with our latest updates and hope to cater to both Experts and the SMEs more in the coming days.

The nicheBrains platform which enables the industry experts and SMEs to connect, collaborate and work together on projects for digital transformation is becoming more user friendly. All the updates which are planned for December are only going make the platform more robust and seamless.
